Seniors 2012...What Moves You?
At Willow Valley Photography, we are excited for the 2012 Senior Season of photography! This will be our 5th year of doing senior photography and we want to show 'what moves you'! Maybe you get excited about your favorite hobby or club! Perhaps it is music, theater or dance that moves your soul. It could be your favorite ride-whether it is a truck, car or a horse that moves you...literally! Sports definitely move you physically; as well as other activities. Are you a little bit country or a little bit Rock 'n Roll? Whatever moves you...we want to capture that side of your personality in our custom Memory Book Session.
We take the time to do a full consultation before your sessions. We discuss clothing and background choices; cover topics like hair styles & makeup and set up your session appointments. Generally, the indoor and outdoor sessions are on different days unless you request both on the same day. This allows for completely different hairstyles with the sessions. It is our policy with Memory Book Sessions that only one boy and only one girl from the same school go to the same outdoor location. We really want your images to look differently from others at your school. Consultations are a great way for us to get to know you too! We really want you to enjoy your sessions and the total experience.
We have so many new changes this year! First of all, we are moving our studio location! We will be about 2 blocks over on Court Street and we will be tripling in size; with one whole area dedicated to senior photography. We have invested in some great new lighting for our new studio and got a whole new outdoor lighting setup that will allow us to photograph in bright sun and get some cool looks. We have attended fall and spring photography convention and gone to numerous local South Central Photography meetings. We find it very important to invest time and money in our craft to improve it. Getting involved in Professional Photography Associations and print competitions have really helped us to evolve over the years. We believe it is important to go to conventions to learn fresh new looks and see cool products that make us cutting edge.
